Welcome to the
Sixth Form at Horsforth

The Sixth Form at Horsforth is a thriving campus in Leeds dedicated to students aged 16-18. We offer a wide range of A Level and Level 3 courses and in 2022 and 2023, we achieved the highest state school A Level results in Leeds.
Our enrichment programme offers over 100 opportunities to make our students stand out from the crowd.

Whatever your career plan, our dedicated team is here to guide, support and care for our students. Our team includes form tutors, a Careers and UCAS Co-ordinator and a Pastoral Support Officer all devoted to our A Level students, who will gain independence but will always be supported to prepare them for the next stage in their life.

Open Evenings

We hold two open evening events every year, normally in November and January.

Details for how to register for these events, will appear here.

Campus Tours

If you miss our open evenings, don’t worry, we’d still love for you to come and see our sixth form campus for yourself. Find out about the wide range of courses we offer, our dedicated Careers and UCAS Co-ordinator, our Pastoral Support Officer and a wide range of enrichment opportunities.

We run campus tours from February every year for new to Horsforth students. Let us know if you would be interested in a tour and we will email you when the next one will take place.

We have great transport links, we’re located just off the ring road, a short walk away from Horsforth train station (Leeds to Harrogate line), with lots of local bus stops nearby.

Need help getting here? If you are thinking of joining us but are not local to Horsforth, we run a dedicated minibus and would add additional routes, subject to demand. Let us know where you would need to travel from.

We offer a wide selection of subject choices to suit every student’s needs and aspirations. All students in Year 12 are expected to study 4 different elements – this might be 4 different A Level subjects or could be 3 A Level subjects together with a compulsory fourth element of study.
